Bees In Bloom

Artisia’s newest and largest collection to date is the Bees In Bloom Collection. What goes better with SpringTime and flowers than bees? And with all the struggles they’ve had in recent years, they deserve some time in the spotlight! Bees can be fun and elegant at the same time.

They can be country bumpkin’ too, that’s very true, and very cute in it’s own right. But I tried to take these bees down Rodeo Drive, on a bit of a shopping spree…give them a bit of a make-over. I clothed them with lots of Gold and Brass and beautiful Spring shades of Pinks and Teals, Lilacs and Turquoise, Whites and Blacks. I did this in Sophisticated and Romantic styles. Classic and Stylish, using quality materials like 18k gold plate, Czechoslovakian Glass, and Swarovski Crystals.

You will be proud to wear these bees and every time you put them on, you won’t be able to help but smile. Just try to say ‘Bees’ without smiling, I dare you.

“But Heather, this has nothing to do with the trends that are coming out that you talked about!”

Well, not so fast. As I stated before, I do see some flowery-flowy blouses coming out and I  think these will pair amazing with those…kind of like a theme. And on the handmade front, the bees are flying off the shelves. I was fortunate to get the bees I got. They are all sold out now, so that tells me they may become more popular than any of us realize.

Besides, trends are just trends. They come and they go. I just report on what I see and hear. Whether or not I agree or like/dislike the color or trend doesn’t matter. I make what I think you will like Artisia. What I think is interesting and unique. Beautiful. Inspiring. What goes with the trends, but kinda goes it’s own way too.

Go make your own trend. If you love something, go for it Artisia! Who knows, it may just bee-come the next big thing!

Much Love,
Heather

  3. Hello! I know this is somewhat off-topic however I had to ask.
Does managing a well-established website like yours require a large amount of
work? I am brand new to running a blog but I
do write in my journal everyday. I’d like to start a blog so
I will be able to share my personal experience and views online.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for
    brand new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!

    1. Thanks for asking Artisia! I don’t post everyday. Maybe every couple of weeks or so. I am working on content to get me up to blogging more often, but I have found it challenging to get material that my readers would be interested in. I am currently working on a garden of my own and waiting for the seeds to grow. 😉 I have a black thumb so it should be hilarious!
Getting the website up and running was a labor of love! It was very time consuming and somewhat difficult because we did it ourselves using a program called Ultimate Architect. If you are not very computer savvy, it is kinda easy to follow, but I had to ask my hubby for help a lot! If you struggle with computers, I would find an alternative.
Other than that, blogging can take up as much time as you let it. How often do you want to post? Once a week? Every day? Planning what you are going to post will take up the majority of your time. Pics ect… take time as well. When I do a blog it generally takes me a few days just mulling it over in my head, then about 30 mins to write it, and an hour to post, with pics and all. So actual work on it is about an hour and a half. But as you can see, the planning is where the majority of your time is spent. not actively doing anything, just in your head as you are doing other things or resting for a bit. At least that’s how I do it anyway.
Quick tip. A free images (though they’re not really free anymore) site is invaluable in doing a lot of your pics and other art. Just make sure it is commercial free. Being able to take your own photos is equally if not more valuable. Really think about how you want your readers to view what you are trying to convey. Be careful about what is in the background…something that always trips me up, and watch lighting and shadows.
But welcome to the club Artisia! I hope your blog works out wonderfully! Much Love – Heather

    1. Hi Shelly. Sure! Pictures are not for commercial use though, sorry. 🙁 What site do you own? I’d love to know and visit again!

    1. Hello Dorine, I wasn’t aware I had music on my site.? I will have to look into that. But thanks for the compliment!
